Our approach for UI/UX development is to enhance user satisfaction while fullfiling the business objectives. We start with identifying business goals and then focus on the functionality of the app.

The team was using established solutions in their operations but a lot of features were redundant for them. Typically, the standard tools come with the pay-per-user pricing model. And this can become quickly expensive for a growing team. Also, established tools come with a lot of features that were redundant for their specific use case.

Solution

Our team primarily worked on the UI/UX design. We started with the discussions about usability and listed out the core features required. Based on those core features and after some research, we designed a few concepts.

User Flows

We examine a few user flows and their compatibility. And we found the most appropriate user flow to achieve the stated outcomes. To examine the usability of the tool, our team built a Figma prototype. This allows the users to engage with the platform even before the coding. Additionally, we collected the feedback from the team and made necessary adjustments.

Visual Design

Keeping the focus on core functionality, we also paid attention to the visual elements like brand consistency, typography, visual contrast etc. We started with the atomic design principle and built the entire product from bits and pieces.

We enjoyed to the full extent the productive collaboration with the team. Even though we continue to maintain and support their product, we wish them all the best in their future endeavors.

Result

The custom automation tool managed to reduce monthly marketing costs. Returns on investment were about an year with the current team size. Expansion in services and team will lead to better returns.
